Introduction

The Erevu eLearning 2.0 project aims to bridge the digital divide in Nairobi's informal settlements by providing accessible and engaging eLearning opportunities. It leverages the knowledge and successes of past initiatives like ComiCare and Simumentor while addressing limitations of previous software.

Needs Assessment

Informal settlements in Nairobi face limited access to technology and quality education. Erevu eLearning 2.0 addresses these needs by:

  1. Delivering short, interactive eLearning courses aligned with the Kenyan curriculum (ECD, Primary, Secondary).
  2. Utilizing HTML5 for wider accessibility across devices.
  3. Distributing the program through established ICT centers for convenient access.

Project Objectives

  1. Increase access to quality education in Nairobi's informal settlements.
  2. Enhance learning experiences through engaging multimedia and interactive content.
